DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM SEPTEMBER 18 TO 24, 1995, AS “PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT WEEK”

WHEREAS

, the Production Management Association of the Philippines (PROMAP) is a non-profit, non-partisan, and non-stock organization established and committed to promote industrial development through better and efficient management of the production system;

WHEREAS

, PROMAP will be holding the 8th National Convention on September 21 to 23, 1995, in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Olongapo City with the theme: “GLOBAL COMPETITION: THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE TO MANUFACTURING”;

WHEREAS

, there is a need to focus national attention on the important role production executives play in the development of our economy;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS

, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from September 18 to 24, 1995, as “Production Management Week”.
