PROCLAMATION NO. 1165

DECLARING FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 1998, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN GENERAL SANTOS CITY

WHEREAS, Friday, February 27, 1998, marks the 59th Foundation Anniversary of the City of General Santos;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of General Santos City be given full opportunity to celebrate this event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Friday, February 27, 1998, as a special day in General Santos City.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
