PROCLAMATION NO. 255

AUTHORIZING ANEW THE GIRL SCOUTS OF THE PHILIPPINES TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FROM SEPTEMBER 1, 1993 TO AUGUST 31, 1994

WHEREAS,

the Girl Scouts of the Philippines was authorized under the Proclamation No. 34, series of 1992, to conduct a national fund campaign from September 1, 1992 to August 31, 1993;

WHEREAS,

the Girl Scouts of the Philippines needs additional time to raise more funds for its laudable objectives;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS,

President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize anew the Girl Scouts of the Philippines to conduct a national fund campaign from September 1, 1993 to August 31, 1994.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF,

I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
