PROCLAMATION NO. 171

AUTHORIZING TAHANAN OUTREACH PROJECTS AND SERVICES, INC. TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR

WHEREAS

, the Tahanan Outreach Projects and Services, Inc. (TOPS), was earlier authorized under Proclamation No. 869, s. 1992, to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year;

WHEREAS

, TOPS will again conduct a national campaign to raise funds that will ultimately benefit underprivileged children and youth; and

WHEREAS

, this national fund campaign by TOPS deserves the wholehearted support of all segments of society.

NOW, THEREFORE

, I,

FIDEL V. RAMOS

, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Tahanan Outreach Projects and Services, Inc. to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation.
