AUTHORIZING THE BOY SCOUTS OF THE PHILIPPINES TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR

WHEREAS

, under Proclamation No. 508, series of 1994, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines was authorized to conduct a national fund campaign during the period from September 24, 1994 to September 24, 1995;

WHEREAS

, the noble and laudable purposes of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines deserve the full support of every Filipino and resident in the country; and

WHEREAS

, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines needs additional time to enable it to raise more funds to attain its laudable goal;

NOW,  THEREFORE

,

I, FIDEL V. RAMOS

, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Boy Scouts of the Philippines to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year, effective upon the promulgation of this proclamation.

I call upon all citizens and residents of the Philippines, regardless of race or creed to actively support and give generously of their time and resources to the cause to the BSP.
