PROCLAMATION NO. 878

AUTHORIZING THE EPHPHETA FOUNDATION FOR THE BLIND, INC., TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR

WHEREAS, the Ephpheta Foundation for the Blind, Inc., was authorized under Proclamation No. 628, series of 1995, to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year;

WHEREAS, the Ephpheta Foundation for the Blind, Inc., would like to pursue its Outreach Programs through the Completion of its Ephpheta Home for the Aged Blind in Hermosa, Bataan, and Ephpheta Center for the Disabled in Libon, Albay;

WHEREAS, the Ephpheta Foundation for the Blind, Inc., needs additional time to raise more funds for its laudable goal;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Ephpheta Foundation for the Blind, Inc., to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
