PROCLAMATION NO. 1083

AUTHORIZING THE FILIPINO WAR VETERANS FOUNDATION (FILVETS), INC., TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR

WHEREAS

, under Proclamation No. 893, dated October 1, 1996, the Filipino War Veterans Foundation (FILVETS), Inc., was authorized to conduct a national fund campaign during the period from October 1, 1996 to October 1, 1997;

WHEREAS

, the Filipino War Veterans Foundation (FILVETS), Inc., needs additional time to enable it to raise more funds to attain its laudable goal;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS

, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Filipino War Veterans Foundation (FILVETS), Inc., to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation.
