PROCLAMATION NO. 610

AUTHORIZING THE FILIPINO WAR VETERANS FOUNDATION (FILVETS), INC., TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A  PERIOD OF ONE YEAR

WHEREAS, under Proclamation No. 391, series of 1994, the Filipino War Veterans Foundation (FILVETS), Inc., was authorized to conduct a national fund campaign during the period from May 27, 1994 to May 27, 1995;

WHEREAS, the Filipino War Veterans Foundation (FILVETS), Inc., needs additional time to enable it to raise more funds to attain its laudable goal;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Filipino War Veterans Foundation (FILVETS), Inc. to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one year, effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
