PROCLAMATION NO. 886

AUTHORIZING THE GIRL SCOUTS OF THE PHILIPPINES TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR

WHEREAS, the Girls Scouts of the Philippines was authorized under Proclamation No. 652, series of 1995, to conduct a national fund campaign from September 29, 1995 to September 28, 1996;

WHEREAS, the Girl Scouts of the Philippines needs additional time to raise more funds for its laudable objectives;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Girl Scouts of the Philippines to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one year effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
