PROCLAMATION NO. 789

AUTHORIZING THE GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF THE PHILIPPINES, INC., TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR

WHEREAS, under Proclamation No. 507, dated November 24, 1994, the Goodwill Industries of the Philippines, Inc., was authorized to conduct a national fund campaign until November 24, 1995;

WHEREAS, the Goodwill Industries of the Philippines, Inc., needs more time to conduct its fund campaign to enable it to support its various rehabilitation programs and services;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Goodwill Industries of the Philippines, Inc., to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
