PROCLAMATION NO. 218

AUTHORIZING THE SOUTHEAST ASIAN INSTITUTE FOR THE DEAF, INC., TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR)

WHEREAS

, the Southeast Asian Institute for the Deaf, Inc., in consonance with the government’s appeal for vigorous efforts to improve the situation of the poor and the disadvantaged, has accelerated its programs to prepare students to be independent contributing citizens;

WHEREAS

, the programs and projects of the Southeast Asian Institute for the Deaf, Inc. deserves full support of the various sectors of society;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS

, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the law, do hereby authorize the Southeast Asian Institute for the Deaf, Inc., to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year, effective upon the promulgation of this proclamation.
