PROCLAMATION NO 954

AUTHORIZING THE UNITED WAY PHILIPPINES, INC., TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR

WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 689, dated October 31, 1995, authorized the United Way Philippines, Inc., to conduct a national fund campaign up to October 31, 1996;

WHEREAS, the United Way Philippines, Inc., needs additional time to raise more funds for its laudable objectives;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the United Way Philippines, Inc., to conduct a national fund campaign for period of one (1) year effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
