BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES

PROCLAMATION NO. 1205

AUTHORIZING THE UNITED WAY PHILIPPINES, INC., TO CONDUCT A

NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR

WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 954, dated February 3, 1997, authorized the United Way Philippines, Inc., to conduct a national fund campaign up to February 3, 1998;

WHEREAS, the United Way Philippines, Inc., needs additional time to raise more funds for its laudable objectives;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the United Way Philippines, Inc., to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I, have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 21st day of April, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and ninety eight.
