PROCLAMATION NO. 1144

CALLING THE CONGRESS OF THE PHILIPPINES TO A SPECIAL SESSION

Pursuant to the powers vested in me by the Constitution,

I, FIDEL V. RAMOS

, President of the Philippines, do hereby call the Congress of the Philippines to a Special Session on January 9th to the 12th, 1998 to consider and act upon:

1. The Amended Oil Deregulation Law

2. The National Appropriations Act and

3. Measures where Senate or House action will result in the final passage thereof without need of bicameral conference.
