MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 296
CREATING A HOUSING COMMITTEE IN THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT
1. There is hereby created in the Office of the President (Proper) a Housing Committee, hereinafter referred to as the Committee, composed of the following:
| a. | A Representative from the Office of the Executive Secretary | Chairman |
| b. | A Representative from the Office of the Senior Deputy Executive Secretary | Vice-Chairman |
| c. | The Director Personnel Office | Member |
| d. | The Director Finance Office | Member |
| e. | The President, Office of the President Employees Network (OPEN | Member |
The representative of the Executive Secretary to the National Housing Authority Board of Directors shall act as the Secretary.
2. The Committee shall have the following functions:
(a) To conduct a survey of OP officials and employees who are in need of a housing unit and have not previously availed of any housing benefit in the OP;
(b) To identify real property suitable for housing;
(c) To submit OP Housing Program for endorsement to the President; and
(d) To perform such other functions in furtherance of the foregoing.
3. This Memorandum Order shall take effect immediately.
