PROCLAMATION NO. 1208

CREATING AND DESIGNATING A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF PRIVATE DOMAIN SITUATED IN BARRIO PANTAY AND ULANGO, MUNICIPALITY OF TANAUAN, PROVINCE OF BATANGAS, AS A SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916

Upon recommendation of the Director General, Philippine Economic Zone Authority, and Resolution No. 97-403, dated December 19, 1997 of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby create and designate as a Special Economic Zone (ECOZONE), an area located in Barrio Pantay and Ulango, Municipality of Tanauan, Province of Batangas, consisting a total area of Six Hundred Twenty Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty-Nine (620,789) square meters, more or less, as defined by the following technical description:

“A parcel of land situated in Barrio of Pantay and Ulango, Municipality of Tanauan, Province of Batangas, Island of Luzon, Bounded on the NE, along line 1-2-3-4-5-6 by Lot 5719 and Lot 5720; on the NW, along line 6-7-8 by Lot 5720 and Lot 5721; on the NE, along line 8-9 by Lot 5703; on the SE, along line 9-10-11 by Lot 5695; on the NW, along line 11-12 by Lot 5695; on the NE, along line 12-13-14-15-16-17-18-19-20 by Cad 168; on the SE along line 2021 by San Juan River, on the NW, along line 32-33-34-35-36 by Lot 5682; on the SW, along line 36-37 by Lot 5682; on the NW, along line 37-38-39 by Lot 5682; on the NW, along line 39-40-41-42 by Lot 5681 and Lot 5680; on the SW, along line 42-43-44 by Lot 5679; on the NW, along line 44-45 by Lot 5675; on the NE, along line 45-46 by Lot 5835; on the NW, along line 46-47 by Lot 5835; on the NW, along line 47-48-49-1 by Lot 5716; all of the CAD 168 of Tanauan, Batanga

Cyl. conc. mons. 15 x 60 cms., bearing true, date of original survey, Feb. 1920-March 1923 and that of the sketch plan and was approved on 20 February 1998.”
