PROCLAMATION NO. 91

DECLARING NOVEMBER 21 TO 28 OF EVERY YEAR AS WOMEN’S HEALTH WEEK

WHEREAS, the promotion of the health and well-being of the people is one of the most important responsibility of government;

WHEREAS, the women of today, both in government and private service, are active participants in nation building;

WHEREAS, there is a need to focus national attention on the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of women’s health problems;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from November 21 to 28 of every year as Women’s Health Week.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 3rd day of November, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and ninety two.
