DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM MARCH 4 TO 10, 1996 AS OFFICE MACHINE INDUSTRY WEEK

WHEREAS,

the Philippine Office Machine Distributors Association (POMDA) is an industry-oriented organization composed of distributors of well-known office machines, which seeks relevance with the needs and requirements of the business and government sectors;

WHEREAS,

POMDA which serves as an information center by keeping the public informed of the developments in the office machine industry will be holding an annual exhibit on March 6 to 10, 1996, in Mandaluyong City;

WHEREAS,

it is necessary to focus national attention on the important role of modern office equipment as tools of economic progress and technological development.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS

, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from March 4 to 10, 1996, as Office Machine Industry Week under the auspices of the Philippine Office Machine Distributors Association, Inc.
