DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM SEPTEMBER 6 TO 12, 1993, AND EVERY SECOND WEEK OF SEPTEMBER THEREAFTER AS “STRATEGIC PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT WEEK”

WHEREAS

, the Corporate Planning Society of the Philippines (CPSP) was organized in 1983 to promote the professionalization of strategic planning practice in the private and public sectors;

WHEREAS

, the CPSP has grown over the years with individual and corporate members representing top rate practitioners in the field of strategic planning and management;

WHEREAS

, the CPSP will celebrate its 10th year anniversary on September 10, 1993, with special awarding ceremonies in Makati, Metro Manila, on the theme “Shaping Visions into Realities”;

WHEREAS

, there is a need to increase public awareness on the critical role that strategic planning and management play in attaining competitiveness in business and industry;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS

, President of the Philippines, by virtue of powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from September 6 to 12, 1993, and every second week of September thereafter, as “Strategic Planning and Management Week” under the auspices of the Corporate Planning Society of the Philippines.
