PROCLAMATION NO. 29

DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM SEPTEMBER 7 TO 13, 1992, AS “PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT WEEK”

WHEREAS, the Production Management Association of the Philippines (PROMAP) is a non-profit, non-partisan, and non-stock organization established and committed to promote industrial development through better and efficient management of the production system;

WHEREAS, PROMAP will hold its 1992 Production Management Convention on September 10 to 11, 1992, in Manila with the theme: “TARGET: TRANSFORMING THE PHILIPPINES INTO A WORLD CLASS MANUFACTURER”;

WHEREAS, there is a need to focus national attention on the important role production executive play in the development of our economy;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from September 7 to 13, 1992, “Production Management Week.”

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
