WHEREAS, the Philippine Retirement Authority will celebrate its Tenth (10th) Anniversary on July 4, 1995, under the theme

WHEREAS, PRA has dynamically improved and phenomenally achieved self-sufficiency and self-reliance through increased productivity and a high sense of integrity in the public service despite a lean budget and organization;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Tuesday, July 4, 1995, as the “Philippine Retirement Authority Day”. All departments, agencies, and instrumentalities, including government owned and controlled corporations, are hereby directed to lend full support and cooperation to the Authority in its endeavors in promoting the Philippines as a retirement haven for foreign nationals thereby generating foreign exchange.
