PROCLAMATION NO. 112

AUTHORIZING THE REHABILITATION AND PLACEMENT FOUNDATION FOR THE DISABLED, INC., TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR

WHEREAS, the Rehabilitation and Placement Foundation for the Disabled, Inc. (RPFD), was authorized under Proclamation No. 795, dated September 5, 1991, to conduct a national fund campaign up to June 30, 1992;

WHEREAS, the Rehabilitation and Placement Foundation for the Disabled, Inc. needs additional time to raise more funds to enable it to expand its programs and projects for the disadvantaged and physically handicapped;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Rehabilitation and Placement Foundation for the Disabled, Inc., to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one year effective upon the promulgation of this proclamation.

For this purpose, all donations, bequests, and gifts received by the Rehabilitation and Placement Foundation for the Disabled, Inc. for the implementation of its programs and activities shall be entitled to all the tax exemption and deductibility benefits provided in the appropriate provisions of the National Internal Revenue Code, as amended, and its implementing rules and regulations.
