MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 200

CREATING A COMMITTEE TO STUDY THE PROPOSAL OF HOPEWELL HOLDINGS, LIMITED, TO UNDERTAKE VARIOUS INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS

There is hereby created a Committee to study the proposal of Hopewell Holdings, Limited, to undertake the construction of various infrastructure projects, composed of representatives from the following:

1. Department of Public Works and Highways – as the lead agency
2. Department of Transportation and Communications
3. Coordinating Council for the Philippine Assistance Program
4. National Economic and Development Authority
5. The Flagship Committee (Osmeña)
6. Department of Energy

The Committee is hereby authorized to call on any department, bureau, or agency of the government including government owned or controlled corporation, for assistance as it may need in the accomplishment of its task. It shall consider the possibility of integrating the projects in the present development plans of line agencies.

The Committee shall submit its recommendations within thirty (30) days from date of this Order to the Office of the President.

This Order takes effect immediately.
