PROCLAMATION NO. 132

DECLARING A STATE OF PUBLIC CALAMITY IN THE

PROVINCE OF AGUSAN DEL SUR AND IN THE CITY OF BUTUAN

I,

FIDEL V. RAMOS

, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare, upon the recommendation of the Chairman, National Disaster Coordinating Council, a state of public calamity in the Province of Agusan del Sur and in the City of Butuan which have been severely affected by torrential rains and heavy flooding. I also hereby authorize the release from the calamity fund the amount of Three Million Pesos (P3,000,000.00) for the Province of Agusan del Sur and One Million Pesos (P1,000,000.00) for the City of Butuan, to support the on-going disaster operations being undertaken by their respective Provincial and City Disaster Coordinating Councils.
