MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 144-A
EXPANDING THE SCOPE OF THE FACT-FINDING INVESTIGATION BEING CONDUCTED UNDER MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 144 REGARDING THE ALLEGED IRREGULARITIES IN THE FEBRUARY 1993 PHYSICIAN LICENSURE EXAMINATION
The Fact-Finding Committee created pursuant to Memorandum Order No. 144, is further directed to evaluate the existing practices, systems and structures utilized and observed by the Professional Regulation Commission in the preparation for and in the actual conduct of physician licensure examinations, their adequacy for insuring the confidentiality and integrity of the examinations, and to investigate alleged irregularities in connection therewith.
For this purpose, and as may be necessary for a thorough evaluation, the Committee is directed to take the testimonies of examiners, reviewers, examinees, heads of the latter’s schools, and the staff of the Commission discharging functions related to the examinations.
The period for the submission of the report of the Committee to the Executive Secretary is accordingly extended to October 7, 1993.
